Objective:

Law Web LLC approached TOL23 Design in October 2008 to develop a website for attorneys that would redefine how the legal industry represents itself online. Starting with Missouri, the planned expansion of www.missourilawyers.com to a natonal platform meant that the "beta" site was a critical element in the 5 year business plan.

Initial development began with a comprehensive development scope submitted to Law Web LLC. TOL23 Design has worked with the Arizona State Bar on a major private project, as such, our understanding of the demanding requirements of an attorney based site was somehat advanced. Nonetheless, what Law Web LLC wanted was a website that redefined how the regular attorney portal works.
This was a very challenging project for TOL23 Design. As part of our initial development proposal, many hours were spent reviewing direct competitor sites such as lawyers.com and speaking with both attorneys and their paralegal teams. We also reviewed the requirements of the Missouri State Bar for online activities by attorneys.

Results:

When Missouri Lawyers launched it was an immediate success. By implementing TOL23 Design`s "One Click Site" strategy, an end user can utilise the entire website without ever leaving the front page. Revenue streams were set up for Law Web LLC that included allowing attorneys to brand their own pages, industry specific banner advertising, a complete search by a number of criteria function plus much more.
